About Caryn
My first encounter with flowers was at sixteen, in a country train station, where I realised that the bloom itself could carry more than a message - it could create an experience. The smell of transience in both trains & blooms whilst immersed in a cocoon of affected nature was a sensory experience that stayed with me.
I refined my understanding of design, composition, and luxury through fashion and hospitality. I managed Universal Wine Bar on the infamous Rundle St, Adelaide and Apartment Cafe in the Renzo Piano Building on Macquarie Street, Sydney. I modelled for designers including Steven Khalil, Carla Zampatti, George Gross & Harry Who, and Alex Perry, and was featured in publications such as Vogue, Modern Wedding, and Australian Traveller. This experience honed my eye for memorable experiences, structure, seasonality and storytelling - the same principles I bring to events.
I found myself returning to the fragrance & impermanence of nature in flowers and formally trained in floristry at Pearsons School of Floristry in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
I work closely with each client to curate editorial-inspired events where every element is intentional, every detail considered, and every guest experiences the beauty of thoughtful design.
My work blends warmth with an edgy sophistication, drawing on both fashion and floristry to create moments that are personal, editorial, and feel as good as they look.
