About Caryn
My first experience in a florist was at a train station in a country town. I was sixteen at the time & wanted to give someone a flower with a note written in black marker. It was empowering adding flowers; the message alone was not enough. The smell of transience in both trains & blooms whilst immersed in a cocoon of affected nature was a sensory experience I remember vividly.

I detoured through the texture & flavours of hospitality management refining my understanding of service & the customer experience. I immersed myself in the beauty of design when modelling for (but not limited to) Steven Khalil, Carla Zampatti, George Gross and Harry Who, Alex Perry, Qantas, Evian and was published in Vogue, Australian Traveler, Modern Wedding, Brides Diary, New Idea, Woman’s Day, Australian Sunday Mail.
I found myself returning to the fragrance & impermanence of nature in flowers. I studied floristry at Pearsons School of Floristry in Darlinghurst, Sydney & opened a retail space in 2018. I now design from my studio in the Hunter region in the company of my Great Dane.
I work closely with my clients & draw on my wealth of experience to ensure a seamless planning experience & event for you, your guests & your vendors. My warmth & edgy complexity is reflected in my work & I am intentional with my choice of materials. I create with the conviction that beauty is unique.
